Who we are

Wally’s Landing is a sixteen-acre property nestled next to the Potomac River near the Point of Rocks Bridge. Owned by Emily Schwartz and Erik Silk, the Virginia property pays homage to our beloved dog, Wally.

On the property, you’ll find:

  • An 1840s farmhouse (our home)

  • An old barn with stables and hay loft

  • A beautiful field on a hill, perfect for photos and small gatherings

  • A shallow channel that’s an offshoot of the Potomac River – great for kayaking, fishing, and photos

  • Old Rt. 15 – yes, there is an abandoned road on the property (along with all sorts of spooky artifacts from the years)

  • Woods filled with flora and fauna, including hundreds of pawpaw trees

Our goal is to share the history and beauty of this pretty land with anyone who will appreciate it. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in taking family photos, engagement photos, or just learning more about local history. Welcome to Wally’s Landing.
